Tampa Bay’s Ukrainian Community

Tampa Bay is home to a growing Ukrainian community. Since 2022, thousands of Ukrainians have settled across Pinellas, Hillsborough, and surrounding counties. This page is a directory of the parishes, organizations, businesses, and groups that serve our community.

St. Michael Ukrainian Orthodox Church is honored to be part of this community. We share this resource to help parishioners, newcomers, allies, and anyone wanting to connect with Ukrainian life in Tampa Bay.

Cultural Events

  • Ukrainian AutumnFest, an annual festival hosted by Epiphany Ukrainian Catholic Church in St. Petersburg. Features varenyky, holubtsi, live music, dance. Running since 1980.
  • Ukrainian Independence Day (August 24), celebrated at various venues around the Bay area
  • Parish feast days and cultural observances at St. Michael throughout the liturgical year

About St. Michael Ukrainian Orthodox Church

St. Michael is the only Ukrainian Orthodox parish in Tampa Bay. We hold Divine Liturgy every Sunday in Ukrainian and English, and our doors are open to everyone, Ukrainian heritage or not.
