Orthodox Church Serving Tampa Bay

St. Michael Ukrainian Orthodox Church is the only Ukrainian Orthodox parish in the Tampa Bay area. We are based in Pinellas Park and serve faithful and inquirers across the entire Bay region, from northern Pinellas County across to Hillsborough and Pasco counties.

Our Divine Liturgy is celebrated every Sunday at 10:00 AM in both English and Ukrainian. Whether you are exploring the Orthodox faith for the first time, looking for a parish that honors Ukrainian tradition, or planning a baptism, wedding, or memorial service, you are welcome at St. Michael.

Cities We Serve

We are within a comfortable drive of every major community in the Tampa Bay metro. The pages below describe what each community can expect when visiting our parish: drive time and route, the Ukrainian community context in that city, the nearest alternative Orthodox options for those who want to compare, and the specific reasons people from each city find us worth the trip.

Inner Pinellas County (under 20 minutes)

Hillsborough County (Tampa, eastern Bay)

Pasco County (north and northeast)

A Note on the Wider Bay Area

For our Ukrainian Orthodox brethren in the eastern Bay area, our sister parish Holy Protection of the Mother of God Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Dover (Plant City area) also serves the UOC of the USA tradition. Both parishes welcome visitors and inquirers, and we coordinate closely on jurisdictional matters.

For Greek, Antiochian, Russian, and other Orthodox traditions, several established parishes serve Tampa Bay. Our purpose at St. Michael is to be the welcoming home for those drawn specifically to the Ukrainian Orthodox tradition, the bilingual liturgical experience, and the cultural continuity that comes with being part of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA.
