Orthodox Church in Pinellas Park, FL

Orthodox Church in Pinellas Park, FL

St. Michael Ukrainian Orthodox Church is rooted right here in Pinellas Park. Our parish home sits at 9201 60th St, just north of Park Boulevard and a short drive from the heart of the city. We are the only Ukrainian Orthodox parish in the Tampa Bay area, and we have served the Pinellas Park community for decades.

If you live in Pinellas Park, you have a parish that is genuinely your neighbor. No long drive across the bay, no struggling to find parking at a busy downtown church. We are five minutes from Freedom Lake Park, five minutes from the Pinellas Park Performing Arts Center, and a few turns off the main north-south corridors of US 19 and 49th Street.

Where We Are in the City

The parish property is on 60th Street North, between Park Boulevard (the city’s main east-west road) and 102nd Avenue North. From the I-275 / Park Boulevard exit, head east on Park Boulevard, turn north on 49th Street, and east on 102nd. The drive from any part of Pinellas Park is under 10 minutes.

Free parking is available on-site. The building is accessible, and a greeter is at the door before every Sunday Divine Liturgy.

Why Pinellas Park Residents Choose St. Michael

Pinellas Park is a diverse, growing community. It is also home to St. Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Church, which serves the Antiochian Orthodox tradition. Both parishes are Eastern Orthodox and share the same faith, but the two communities serve different cultural and liturgical experiences.

If you are looking for a parish that:

  • Serves Divine Liturgy in both English and Ukrainian
  • Honors the Ukrainian Orthodox tradition (UOC of the USA, under the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople)
  • Welcomes Ukrainian families, including those who have arrived since 2022
  • Offers a welcoming entry point for Americans new to the Orthodox faith
  • Maintains a community life that includes Ukrainian cultural traditions, feast days, and family customs

then St. Michael is the parish for you.

Sunday Worship

Divine Liturgy is at 10:00 AM every Sunday, with hours and confessions beginning at 9:30 AM. The service is bilingual, with portions in English and portions in Ukrainian. Our cantors lead congregational singing in both languages.

After Liturgy, parishioners gather for fellowship in the parish hall. Coffee, food, conversation. Newcomers are always welcomed and introduced. Bring your family.

Sacraments and Life Events

Pinellas Park families turn to St. Michael for the great moments of life:

Reach out to Fr. Stephen as early as possible to schedule any of these. He will walk you through what to expect and help your family prepare.

Parish Council

Our parish is governed by a parish council that meets regularly to oversee finances, property, and parish life. Council members are parishioners elected from the community and serve as a bridge between Fr. Stephen and the broader congregation. Names and roles are listed on our About Our Parish page.
